Community Solar (or Community Distribution Generation) offers New Yorkers the option to support clean energy and have part of their electric consumption offset by local solar farms. There is no cost to participate and no installation required.
By electing to support renewables, customers will receive a 5% monthly discount on their electric bill in the form of a credit. More information can be found on the NYSERDA Website below.
